First railway in tribal region Kinwat

Kinwat, a Naxalite tribal region located in Nanded district of Maharashtra state, India, was the site of a meter gauge railway in 1947 to develop means of communication in the area.In 2005, the broad gauge railway was constructed at Kinwat by the Indian Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. A large number of people were present at the inauguration of this railway station, which is located in remote hilly regions.Providing communication services is mandatory, only then can this country develop.
