Kumram Bhima, a freedom fighter

Kumaram bhimu was a warrior who fought again st the injustice and oppression of the Nizamshahi British rule in the Adilabad andAsifabad areas.Their period is from 1901 to 1940.He had given the slogan 'Water, Forest, Land' and had created awareness against the fact that this is a fundamental right of the tribal community and no one can take it away.Their fight is inspiring not only for the entire tribal community but also for the entire Indian society..
Year of Birth:: 22 October1901  He was born in Sankapeli into a Gond tribal family.
Family: He was born into the family of Kumaram Laxman. He had a younger brother and a younger sister.Education: Komram Bhim's educational experience came from business. He went to the school of life. He received his education without going to any school.Inspiration: His source of inspiration was the struggle for freedom given by Ramji Gond, a tribal community.Life Journey: Born into a farming family, the hardworking Gumram Bhima used to earn a living by working in his fields and supporting his family. He struggled with numerous problems in life, including poverty. The Nizam and the British Raj had exploited the tribal community in an endless and oppressive manner, and had trampled on its fundamental rights. The Nizam had claimed complete control over the forest. This meant that the oppressive injustice of the landlords had to be exposed. The poor, exploited Harijan tribal community in the Adilabad-Ashifabad area had been victims of injustice. In such a situation of terrible economic, social and religious exploitation, Gumra Bhim's struggle with the landlords began. At the age of about 25, he had a fight with a landlord, resulting in the murder of one of the landlords. Therefore, in 1925, he had to leave the Sankapilli Asifabad area and move to Assam. He was earning his living by working in a woodworking factory in Assam. He spent about ten to fifteen years of his life here.During this period, he was inspired by events and developments. The struggle of Ramji Gond, a great revolutionary of the tribal community, became his source of inspiration. After Mithun returned, he started his farming business in the Ghat area near Sangpada. He declared "Mawa wate Mawa raj" at Jode Ghat in the Asifabad area and conquered the Nizam's villages with the speed of the wind.He said that only the tribal community has the right to water, forest and land. He strongly opposed the rule of the Jahangir Nizam, the British. They liberated numerous villages from the Nizam's rule, so this news reached the Nizam like the wind. The Nizam sent a delegation to negotiate an agreement. The Nizam agreed to give a strip of land to the rooster Bhimu in return, but the rooster demanded the tribals' freedom. Therefore, the Nizam imprisoned the rooster Bhima and kept him in his prison for four days.In October 1940, the Nizam Jagirdar Siddhi Patwari Laxmanrao arrived in the Jor Ghat area with ten soldiers. He forcibly collected taxes from the oppressed and suffering masses by abusing them. They were watching the rooster with their eyes open. They couldn't bear it. They left him in the same place, making him a farmer. That's where he ended up.With proper planning and timing, Kumarabhimukh, through guerrilla poetry, connected the Ghats to Patan, Token Wada, Chalbari, Shivguda, Bhimangoti, Talegaon, Ankush Pur, Narasapur, Kosaguda, and Line Pat.He fought a war of guerrilla poetry against the Nizam and the British rule and achieved victory. He had created his own administration in twelve villages.Kinwat Mandovi Islapur Kuslapur Asifabad Adilabad Mandwa Talaguda Javarla, Kunakeshwar, Drakhani, Palaiyaguda, Shriram Kheda,They were starting to receive huge support from many such tribal villages.Jodghat became the center of the war, and it was from this place that Kumra Bhimu planned the war.On 16 October 1940, the Nizam and British soldiers attacked here. A very thrilling battle was fought for almost three days by Kumbar Bhimukh and his companions.Kumbarabhimu defeated the Nizam's army twice. They were attacked from behind for the third time, and they were not informed of this incident, which is why they became immortal in this war. They fought for freedom until their last breath.
